Sailor Mercury (Sailormoon Soldiers)

   Wisdom, Justice and Warmth--these are virtues commonly attributed to the blue senshi, Sailor Mercury. Her name itself, Mizuno Ami, is very meaningful. It suggests "beauty of water". 

     Representing the planet of water and being a reincarnation of the Princess of Susei (Planet Mercury), this senshi is very peace loving and intelligent. In fact, she is the most intelligent among their class. She loves math and all the subjects they have in school. Amy is very studious and shy that their classmates thought of her as snob at first. This is because of her solitude most of the time since her mother, Dr. Mizuno, is a very busy doctor. She's not used to mingling with other people. (She lived with her mom since her parents divorced.) But she was able to gain confidence at the latter part of the series wherein she gained more friends besides the sailor soldiers.

     It was Usagi who first befriended her when she was new in their class and soon found out that she is among the sailor soldiers, the first that she discovered. As a sailor soldier, her power is mostly strategic rather than offensive. She is the brain of the group. She uses a mini computer and VR visor as additional fighting equipments.

     While my most favorite among the soldiers is Mars, I am a fan of Ami as well. My favorite color is blue and we were born on the same date that's why I like her. I didn't wear a blue hair with the picture here though because it doesn't suit me well. lols.
